
Seminar on Counterfeit Parts and Materials

Overview: The Counterfeit Parts and Materials Seminar, organised by the SMTA in conjunction with the University of Maryland, aims to raise public awareness of the dangers and consequences of using counterfeit materials. Through case studies, expert discussions and practical demonstrations, strategies for identifying and responding to counterfeit parts in the marketplace will be explored in depth. The seminar will cover a number of important areas, including counterfeit material identification techniques, market trend analysis, laws and regulations, and countermeasures. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the latest anti-counterfeiting technologies and solutions, and share best practices and real-life examples.
